Hi, I’m Amy Petrillo
I’m Amy Petrillo, a board-certified family nurse practitioner with a passion for helping people feel their best through personalized, whole-person care.
I graduated from Malone University as a family nurse practitioner in 2012. Since then, I have worked alongside Dr. Steineck in family practice and have also gained valuable experience as a nurse practitioner with Aultman General Surgery and Trauma Services.
My background in primary care has shaped the way I approach every patient. I believe health and wellness are deeply connected, and I enjoy incorporating my interest in natural medicine, healthy habits, and preventive care into the support I provide.
At Adela Medical Spa, I focus on listening closely, understanding each client’s goals, and helping create a thoughtful plan that supports both confidence and overall well-being.
I am also a registered yoga teacher and enjoy using my knowledge of movement, mindfulness, and wellness to encourage a balanced lifestyle.
Outside of work, I love spending time outdoors with my husband and our two sons. I also enjoy fitness, yoga, and staying active.
My Approach
My approach is centered on caring for the whole person. I take time to listen, understand each patient’s concerns, and consider how their health, lifestyle, and wellness goals connect.
I believe the best care is personalized, practical, and supportive. Whether I am helping someone with a wellness concern, discussing treatment options, or creating a plan for long-term health, I focus on clear communication and realistic recommendations.
My background in family practice, surgery, trauma care, natural medicine, fitness, and yoga has shaped the way I care for patients. I value balance, prevention, and helping people build habits that support how they feel every day.
At Adela Medical Spa, my goal is to create a comfortable experience where each patient feels heard, informed, and confident in the care they receive.
Why Choose Me
I bring more than a decade of experience as a family nurse practitioner, with a background in primary care, general surgery, and trauma services. That experience helps me look beyond a single concern and consider the full picture of each patient’s health and wellness.
I take a thoughtful, personal approach to care. I listen closely, explain options clearly, and create recommendations that feel realistic, supportive, and tailored to the individual.
My interest in natural medicine, fitness, and yoga also shapes how I work with patients. I value balance, prevention, and helping people make choices that support how they feel both now and over time.
Patients choose me because I combine clinical experience with a warm, approachable style. My goal is to help every person feel heard, comfortable, and confident in the care they receive.
“I see Amy. She is very unique, in the sense she actually cares for her patients.”
